As the cover suggests, the original contained “26 Photographic Views” – taken around the district by Adolphus Verey. However – this little book contains 22 images.
The Church on the Hill – Taradale

The first recorded Anglican services at Taradale took place in 1855 when the Reverend F G Barton, the indefatigable Incumbent of Kyneton, took two service in a room of the Taradale Hotel.
